Norwich ev3 "FLATS HUNTER" Saltwater Fly Rods are unique - Completely re-designed and extensively tested through 2008/9 and now completely upgraded with the very latest intermediate T800/05 carbon fiber mix. ev3 Saltwater Blanks are built with a helical-bias inner carbon fiber core for maximum tubular hoop strength. ev3 rods incorporate an intermediate modulus carbon material with a 5% fibre volume orientated at 90 degrees to the uni-directional carbon fibre for even tougher impact resistance. This carbon matrix when allied to the natural exterior tape wrap resin finish and a superior multi coating of UV resistant marine epoxy, gives the Norwich ev3 "FLATS HUNTER" rod  outstanding durability and superior stopping power - allowing you to put maximum pressure on a running fish, without fear of blank collapse.

All ev3 rods are designed to enable comfortable all day casting. ev3 Fly Rods have the necessary taper design to drive tight wind cheating line loops - at close range or distance. The essence for successful saltwater fishing.

ev3 rod models rated for # 7-8 lines are for inshore species, Bonefish, Permit, Redfish, and Snook. ev3 rod models rated for # 9 lines are best for bigger Bone Fish, Permit, and are designed for efficient casting with bulky poppers or larger flies in windy conditions.

The new Reduced length RL 8ft 9inch model makes light work of casting a 10 weight line.

All ev3 models  are outfitted with the best for purpose - field tested saltwater resistant reel seats and components.

ev3 blanks have a rugged tape wrap unsanded carbon surface coated with UV resistant stoved Epoxy laquer designed to cope with the harshest saltwater environment.

Extra Tip Section if purchased with the rod add £49.00. (Blank only £39.00).

A sound investment at less than half price!Most warranty and non warranty repairs are for accidently broken tips.

A spare tip can save a fishing day from ruin should you accidently break a tip section.

Your rod will then be supplied in it's aluminium tube with a custom made bag including an extra parition to store the spare tip section.
