Each rod blank is built with the very latest intermediate T800H/05 carbon fiber prepreg. Flats Hunter saltwater Blanks are all hand built and assembled with a helical-bias inner carbon fiber core for maximum tubular hoop strength. An intermediate modulus carbon material with a 5% fibre volume orientated at 90 degrees to the unidirectional carbon fibres gives the blank superior compression strength. All prepregs now incorporate advanced fortified resins for even tougher impact resistance. All Flats Hunter blanks have a beautiful multi coat of tough deep marine blue UV resistant two part polyurethane resin.  This complex laminate gives the Norwich ev3 "FLATS HUNTER" rod  outstanding durability and superior stopping power that allows you to put maximum pressure on a fast running fish without fear of the blank wall collapsing.

Norwich ev3 Flats Hunter Fly Rods feature as standard, my ultra light, hand rolled carbon blanks.‘Super’ grade cork grips with custom CNC machined reel seat components. Each rod is hand wrapped and outfitted with stainless steel hard-chromed oversize single foot snake intermediate guides. Tich insert oversize stripper butt guides are standard on all models. Each rod is individually numbered and supplied with a partitioned bag and are supplied in a Norwich custom made aluminium rod case.

ev3  Saltwater Rods and rod blanks are available in custom finishes other than the signature Marine Blue.
