HOW TO ORDER AND CREDIT TERMS DETAILS.
TELEPHONE & E-MAIL ORDERS:
SORRY BUT AT THE MOMENT, I DO NOT HAVE A SECURE SERVER FOR PROCESSING CARD TRANSACTIONS.
IF YOU WISH TO SEND YOUR CARD DETAILS BY EMAIL. SEND THE CARD NUMBER AND YOUR REGISTERED CARD ADDRESS PLUS THE LAST THREE DIGITS OF THE SECURITY NUMBER ON THE REVERSE OF THE CARD.
SPLIT THESE DETAILS UP OVER THREE SEPERATE EMAILS AND SEND AT DIFFERENT TIMES.
THIS IS A SOUND SECURE METHOD AND HAS WORKED WITH NO SECURITY PROBLEMS IN THE PAST.
I ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGE FOR YOUR COMFORT, RECEIPT OF YOUR EMAIL ORDER ON COMPLETION OF THE TRANSACTION.
All rod or blank orders up to the value of £550.00 require a £100.00 deposit. Rods over that value, a £200.00 deposit is required. The balance payable when the rod is completed before despatch or collection.
As we have no local Bank in our rural area. Orders, deposits or balance payment is preferred by Debit or Credit card.
I can accept orders by telephone or e-mail - 24 hours/ 7 days. If telephoning, please state your name, address (incl. postcode) telephone number (important). Email address. Please spell out any difficult or unusual words. State credit/debit card number, start date/ issue number expiry date & the address at which the card is registered -if different from delivery address.
Please give details of your order -give as full description, quote reference numbers where applicable, & state prices.
BY POST:
I can accept payment by Cash/Postal Order/Cheque/’Mastercard’/’VISA’/’VISA Delta’ /’Solo’ or Maestro/Switch’. Orders should be sent to the above Address. Please include your name, address, (including postcode) and daytime telephone number, email address and full details of your order. If ordering by Credit/Debit Card, please state your credit card number, expiry date and the address at which the card is registered. Please make cheques payable to ‘David Norwich’ and allow 10 days for clearance on all orders paid by personal cheque.
There is a minimum order value of £ 15.00. excl. postage on small orders.
If paying by credit card on small orders a 3% fee will be added on all orders totalling £25.00 (excluding postage) or under.
PAYMENT SCHEME (U.K. ONLY):
For purchases over £ 200 and up to £ 500 in value, and paid by ‘Mastercard’/ ‘Visa’ / or ‘Switch’ you may pay by credit terms. Your deposit of £ 100 plus carriage will be taken at the time of order and the remaining balance will be paid by monthly instalments of £ 50. Similarly for purchases over £ 500, you can opt for our payment scheme, paying a deposit of £ 200, and the balance by monthly instalments of £50.00. You will be asked to complete a Payment Scheme Form detailing and authorising your payments schedule. There is no charge for this service. Please note goods remain the property of ‘David Norwich’ until all payments are made in full. Any instalments which fail to clear my account will immediately render the remaining balance due in full, and you will be liable for any costs incurred in debt collection and securing payment of amounts owing. If your credit card expires prior to your final payment, you must inform me of the new expiry date, prior to the expiry date of your original card. Failure to do so, will render the remaining balance due in full against your original card.
CARRIAGE (U.K. ONLY): RODS/ROD BLANKS/ ROD CASES:
Carriage & packing charge £ 11.00. by insured Parcel Post (Approx. 3 working days U.K mainland). COMPONENTS - despatched by First Class Recorded Delivery - postage & packing charge £ 3.00.
WORLD WIDE SHIPPING PRICES ON REQUEST
WARRANT RETURNS AND RODS BEING SENT FOR REPAIR:
If you are returning goods for attention, please send carefully-packed (if possible in original packing material), post-paid and fully insured to my HILLSIDE WORKS Address. If using Royal Mail/Parcelforce please ensure that package is insured in transit. I am not responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit to David Norwich.
Do not forget to enclose a contact name, address and tel number or email.
If returning Rods or Rod Blanks under the ‘Three Breaks Warranty’, please enclose the relevant Handling, processing payment of £35.00 for single handed fly rods or £45.00 for double handed rods. ( AS OF JANUARY 2006) (this is subject to change without prior notice and at the cost ruling at time of claim).
