| Back to the Rod Decals and Logos Page Ordering and How To Pay For Your Decals. Help me to help yourself. Setting up proofs and sending text samples takes up a lot of time. Time I can't really spare as I am usually busy making rods or blanks. If it takes me up to an hour to do a set of proofs for approval this can cost you up to £25.00 To avoid these charges try doing the layout yourself using Microsoft Word or you can use Wordpad. (The latter programme can be found in the Accessories folder) Clicking on the font name in the menu box in either of those programmes will open up a drop down menu of different font types. Pick a font from the font menu and type it out in a rough layout of what you want your decal or logo to say.
If that font does not suit. Scroll over the typed text with your mouse to highlight it. Then click on the font menu. Choose a font and click on it. This changes the text you have just typed automatically to any font you care to choose from the menu. Then click on the page and save your copy. Scroll over the text again to highlight it and you can then change the size of the text using the text size drop down menu to make the text any size you require. This menu is to the right of the font menu. Click the page, and then save your copy again. Print it out on a sheet of white paper - and then cut round your text neatly and check it against the rod or blank to see if the size you have made the text fits nicely on the area you want it to be on your rod. Make any adjustments if required and save the document again, but this time save it as a Rich Text Document. Once you are happy with the result, attach the document to an email with a note of the colour required and send it to: Once I see the document and get a good idea of what you want done, I can then price it for you without adding the cost for my time. You then only pay for the printing of your decals with no proofing time added. ____________________________________________________ Rod Decal & Logo orders are carefully and securely packed to prevent damage in transit, and sent in the U.K. by Insured Recorded Delivery Post.
